Hebrews 9: 24, 28
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figure of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us...
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
JESUS, OUR ADVOCATE AND MEDIATOR
GOD is a just GOD, He can not be otherwise; He is Righteous. When we stand before Him washed in the Blood of JESUS, He passes over and we are saved from His wrath. Those who stand before Him without the Blood of JESUS are judged according to His standards of righteousness, against which no man can stand.
Mercy and grace are in JESUS Christ; Eternal life with GOD rests in JESUS. He stands as the advocate for sinners, since He bore the sins of many on the cross and His Blood covered those sins and washed them away. We are saved by the Blood of JESUS, who came in the flesh and died in the flesh; raised to life by the Father and carried His Blood into the Temple in Heaven, making atonement for our sin, now He sits as advocate and mediator for us at the Right Hand of the Father.
I encourage you to read the story of the Passover in Exodus 12. This is a foretaste of the plan of Redemption by the Blood of JESUS. This was an earthly example of the deliverance of the Children of GOD; a preview of the deliverance of those who look to JESUS.
