Deuteronomy 8: 18
But thou shalt remember the LORD Thy GOD, for it is He who giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His Covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
THE LORD GOD GIVES POWER
I have been curious about the attempt on the part of people to get power or to get into a power position. They struggle and fight; maneuver and plan; all the focus is on getting power for themselves. How futile are these imaginary attempts; what illusions they great! Thy are like children in a sand box fighting over a toy.
The LORD is the only source of power and through Him there is the promise of prosperity and wealth. His is the only dynasty that will endure; the only wealth that is real.
When we think of wealth, we are tempted to think that wealth equals money. Money is only a small part of wealth. The wealthiest people are those who are loved and who love. The Love of the LORD GOD is the beginning of great wealth and prosperity, because, from Him springs every good and perfect thing. He loves us, with a perfect love; He desires to give us His best and there is nothing better than what He gives.
BELOVED, IN HIM IS EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT THING FOR YOU.
