Romans 5: 8, 9
But GOD commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, much more than, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.
AMAZING GRACE, HOW SWEET THE SOUND THAT SAVED A WRETCH LIKE ME.
I stop and ponder these words from Romans; stop with me and read them again. Let them sink into your spirit and grow in there with images of the Cross and Crucifixion. This is what JESUS willingly did for us. Not while we were righteous and clean, but when we were dirty and filthy and destined for Hell. All the world was dark and dirty; the sin of humanity gathered together to kill, steal and destroy the Son of GOD. Satan was laughing and dancing with glee as he watched the inhumanity of man come against the Son of GOD.
BUT LOVE OVERCAME EVIL, AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS SAVED MANKIND FROM THE WRATH OF GOD. SATAN WAS DEFEATED.
Jesus did not condemn the world, even in His most painful hour. He said, with a loud voice, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." and mankind was set free and Satan was condemned. Love overcame evil; forgiveness overcame destruction; THE BLOOD OF JESUS HALTED THE WRATH OF GOD.
For those who do not believe in JESUS, there is still the wrath of GOD and the influence of Satan and darkness, gloom and destruction. We see it at work in the world today; murder, suicide, evil speaking, gossip, lying, stealing, false teaching; all this is from the enemy, trying to destroy and kill the work of the LORD. BUT, THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS AND ARE JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE AND ARE SAVED FROM THE WRATH OF GOD.
BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND BE SAVED FROM THE WRATH OF GOD, YOU AND YOUR HOUSE. ONLY BELIEVE IN JESUS. AMAZING GRACE!
