BIBLICAL PROSPERITY

Psalm 5: 11, 12
But let those who put their trust in Thee rejoice; let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defendest them; let those also who love Thy Name be joyful in Thee. For Thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt Thou compass Him as with a shield.

JOY IN THE LORD

In the LORD there is joy and prosperity; in JESUS there is blessing and protection. Outside of the way of the LORD there is misery and destruction. Circumstances do not dictate our responses; the focus of our heart does dictate our course of life. If the focus of our heart is on our self or on selfish gain, we will be miserable even if we gain the whole world. The Scripture is clear on this: what profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul?

Those who put their trust in the LORD, know that the LORD will provide in ways that are according to His plan and His vision. The way of the LORD is good for the soul and leads to salvation/healing. Those who put their trust in Him rejoice and are filled with gladness, even in the most adverse circumstances. The LORD defends His own; He is the Rock; the shelter; the everlasting dwelling of those who are rightly related to Him.

I shared, recently, with a friend who was greatly worried about her family. I told her to release the situation to the LORD and begin to rejoice in Him and who He is, then watch the way He works out the circumstances in all the lives.

Biblical prosperity begins, flows and ends in the LORD. In Him only is prosperity as we walk in His victory.
