GOD IN THREE PERSONS- TRINITY

Monday May 30, 2010
John 16: 13-15
When He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He will guide you into all truth; but whatever He shall hear, that shall he speak; and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me; for He shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that He shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Sunday, we celebrated the Trinity in song and in Scripture. It was fitting, also, that it is Memorial Day, today. In the celebration of Memorial Day, we think about and honor those who have sacrificed their life to keep us a free Nation. We celebrate those who are fighting the good fight in our Nation and abroad to defend us against the enemies who desire our extinction. We celebrate these men and women as heroes of our time and past times. They deserve honor and our very high respect. Lest we forget that our freedom has been bought with the price of the life and limbs of our Veterans. MAY THEY RECEIVE HONOR FOR THEIR WORK AND LABOR OF LOVE FOR THIS NATION. May we remember to fight the good fight to keep this Nation strong.

Now let us think about the Salvation of the world by our LORD JESUS CHRIST, His Blood; His sacrifice; His devotion to His Father and to all creation. Let us honor in our hearts the Father GOD who created all things; JESUS, GOD in the flesh, who redeemed all things by His shed Blood; Holy SPIRIT, who is the essence of the Father and the Son, teaching us all things and bringing us to the understanding of the Holiness of GOD. Let us bow our hearts in great thanksgiving to GOD for His love; His mercy; His grace; the one who spoke the word and all that is seen and unseen came into being. MAY GOD RECEIVE ALL HONOR AND GLORY FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE; FOR HIS WORK AND LABOR OF LOVE FOR ALL THE UNIVERSE, THE WORLD AND FOR US.

GOD IS GOD AND CAN NOT BE LESS OR MORE. GOD IN THREE PERSONS, BLESSED TRINITY.

GOD IS ABLE, FAITHFUL AND MERCIFUL

Saturday, May 29, 2010
Psalm 57:2, 3
I will cry unto GOD most high; unto GOD who performeth all things for me, He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. GOD will send forth His mercy and His truth.

GOD is.....

Is there anything else to say? GOD is GOD; faithful, able, no respecter of persons, defender, deliverer, strength, the Rock, Savior...etc. We could go on and on with descriptions of GOD and never fully describe Him. The best way to describe GOD is to say; GOD IS...

The Scripture says that GOD is and is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. This verse from Psalm 57 seems to underscore that word. The Psalmist is diligently seeking GOD with the faith that GOD will perform all things. The Scripture is filled with accounts of GOD'S faithfulness in time of trouble, the Psalmist is declaring his faith in the One who is faithful.

The Psalmist goes on to declare that GOD is able to deliver him. How can he be sure? GOD IS FAITHFUL. GOD has said that He will deliver His people from the hand of the wicked and GOD is faithful to His word.

David was a very imperfect person, he had sinned greatly during his life, but now he is living a life pleasing to GOD. GOD did not hold David's past against him. Instead, GOD honored the faithfulness of his servant David and did not count the past sins against him. GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS.

In our life, it is very important to remember that GOD is always faithful to us, even when we are not faithful to Him. GOD is able to perform His word to us and always keeps his promises. GOD is no respecter of persons. HE NEVER REJECTS THOSE WHO COME TO HIM AND CALL UPON HIS NAME.
CALL UNTO HIM AND HE WILL ANSWER

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS

Friday, May 28, 2010
Romans 10:12, 13
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.

GOD IS FAITHFUL; GOD IS ABLE; GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS
We live in a time when the three qualities of faithfulness, ability and fairness are hard to find. When we look around at our leaders and our associates, these qualities can be found lacking in everyone - even in ourselves. With GOD, these qualities are eternal. GOD is always faithful; GOD is able to accomplish everything He says He will do; GOD says "WHOSOEVER".

Rejection is one of the biggest factors in most psychological dysfunction. In my work with people suffering from a lifetime of rejection, I find that this factor weaves its nasty tentacles throughout a life, bringing pain to the person and harm to all their relationships. There is found, in these souls, a basic distrust for anyone, including GOD. The good news is that GOD will not reject anyone who calls upon Him. He has given us His Name and He is always present to come to our assistance. There is no time when He is not present. Psalm 139 is very clear about that, I suggest that we all spend time with this Psalm for our own stability.

GOD hates sin, but He will never reject the sinner. We all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of GOD, but GOD will not leave us or forsake us; all we need to do is call and He will answer.

In the Greek, saved and healed are the same word - sozo. So, what the Scripture is saying is that whosoever calls upon the Name of the LORD shall be saved/healed.
GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS, HE SAVES AND HEALS ALL WHO CALL UPON HIS NAME.
CALL NOW AND SEE THE GREATNESS OF OUR GOD

GOD IS ABLE

Thursday, May 27, 2010
Hebrews 10: 23
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for His is faithful that promised.
In Romans 4: 13ff. Paul is speaking about Abraham and his faithfulness to GOD. In verses 20 and 21 we hear these words: "He staggered not at the promise of GOD through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to GOD. And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform."

Let's look at some words in the verses from Hebrews and from Romans: Hebrews says, "Hold fast: " without wavering"; Romans says: "stagger not"; "strong in faith"; "giving glory to GOD"; fully persuaded"; "able also to perform". When it comes to the promises of GOD; when it comes to GOD'S Holy Word; we have only to "Hold fast, without wavering and staggering, be strong in faith, giving Glory to GOD, fully persuaded that He is able to keep all the promises on which He has set His seal in Name and Blood.

Even if we are not able to keep our promises to GOD, through sin, He is faithful to keep His promises. When we repent of our unfaithfulness, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Do yo know the promises of the LORD for you? Do you believe that he is able to perform what He has promised to you? All His promises are yes and amen and all His promises are FOR YOU.

FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED. BELIEVE HIM.

GOD IS FAITHFUL

Wednesday, May 26, 2010
1 Corinthians 10: 13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but GOD is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation, also make the way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God is faithful and will not permit harm

Who is the one who wants to harm you? Remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but in the spiritual realm. The enemy of our soul, wants to harm us; GOD will not permit it. We will be tempted, so will every one else be tempted by the enemy, but GOD is faithful and will not permit the enemy to harm us. GOD will provide an escape so that you can bear the temptation. You see, GOD is in the middle of the trouble, keeping watch over His own. Psalm 121: 3 says: "He will not let your foot be moved; He who keepeth thee will not slumber". Psalm 23:4 says: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me." We are never alone in the middle of temptation, floundering alone without help. "Our help cometh from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth".
The story of Job gives us great insight into temptation and the way out of it. GOD only gave permission to the enemy to try and tempt Job, but not to kill him. Job lost everything, but did not curse GOD. GOD questions Job and Job is humbled. In the end, the LORD turned Job's captivity, when He prayed for His friends.
The keys are: GOD IS FAITHFUL, GOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER, GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS. GOD DOES NOT SLUMBER OR SLEEP, GOD WATCHES, GOD INSTRUCTS IN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, GOD LOVES HIS CHILDREN PASSIONATELY.
GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS BELOVED CHILDREN

GOD IS FAITHFUL

1 Thessalonians 5: 24
Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.

It is GOD who calls you and equips you for ministry
Have you ever asked the questions: What is my ministry? How can I serve GOD? What can I do for GOD? I have heard these questions from some of the most faithful Christians, and they look to someone for answers. They are sincere in their asking, so what is the answer?

The answer lies in the focus for ministry, service and doing. GOD has prepared us for HIS WORK IN THE WORLD. It is His ministry, His service, His doing and all we need to do is acknowledge Him and He will direct the path.
Our verse for today tells us all that we need to know about serving Him; God is faithful to call and equip you for His work in the world. Each person is unique, with unique gifts and abilities. The uniqueness, the gifts and the abilities are GOD'S equipment for His Ministry. When He calls us into action, He has already done the work of preparation. All we have to do is follow. In the fullness of time, the LORD makes all things clear and perfect and we see what GOD has planned for us, and how we fit in His perfect plan.
WATCH AND PRAY; STUDY AND LEARN; BE READY FOR THE MASTER'S CALL

PROMISED ANOINTING

Monday, May 24, 2010
Psalm 89: 20-24
I have found David, my servant; with My holy Oil have I anointed him. With whom My hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact from him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and in My Name, shall his horn be exalted.

The anointing is on all who call upon the Name of the Lord and are saved.

Re read the verses of the Psalm again and put your name in place of David. The Covenant which the LORD GOD made with David, is the same Covenant God has made with those who put their trust in the LORD. JESUS sealed that Covenant through His entire life. JESUS was born as an offspring of the House of David. JESUS, was a Jew and the bearer of the marks of the Covenant with GOD. JESUS fulfilled all the terms of the Covenant, even the term of sacrifice for sin. JESUS was the perfect offering for our sin. JESUS is now the mediator of the New Covenant signed and sealed with His own Blood.

Those who are born again, are enfolded in the New Covenant and are anointed by the Holy Oil of GOD's Holy Spirit. Look again at the verses 21-24. These verses contain the promise to all who are born again:
1.GOD's Arm shall be established through us, 2. His Arm shall strengthen us; 3. The enemy can not rob us or afflict us. 4. GOD will beat down the foes; 5. Those who hate us will be tormented; 6. Faithfulness and mercy of GOD will be with us; 7. GOD has given us His Name; 8. By his Name we shall be raised up.

WOW! What a promise from GOD!! It goes on to say: "He shall cry unto me, 'Thou art my father, my GOD, and the Rock of my salvation'. " (Verse 26). We are part of the family of GOD and can call him Father, GOD and the Rock of our salvation.

GOD has entered into Covenant with us who believe in Him. He upholds the terms of that Covenant eternally;
LET'S STRIVE TO UPHOLD OUR PART, WITH LOVE AND GRATITUDE FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR US.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Saturday, May 22, 2010
Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the LORD, and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our GOD; many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
PRAISE OPENS THE DOOR OF SALVATION
Everything good comes from the LORD. My part is to wait patiently for Him. This sounds very simple, and it is simple, but it takes waiting. Waiting is hard, when you have a passion for the outcome. You are sick, and the Scripture says, "wait patiently for the LORD". You are facing ruin, financially and socially, and the Scripture says, "wait patiently for the LORD". The pain in the stomach, the agony of the unknown, terror by day and night, all seek to disturb your peace and give you sleepless nights. The Scripture says, "wait patiently for the LORD".

The story of Peter jumping out of his boat and walking on water gives us a hint about waiting patiently for the LORD. Jesus called Peter to come to Him, by walking on the water; Peter kept his eyes on Jesus and came, walking on the water; Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at the storm; Jesus took Peter's hand and saved him from drowning.

Settle it in your heart to keep your eyes on Jesus, no matter what the storm. Remember, He is the author and finisher of our salvation and from Him comes everything that is good. Wait patiently for the LORD.

When I was reading these verses, something struck me about praise. Praise comes from the LORD and we return that praise to Him. "He put the new song in our heart; even praise unto our GOD". We didn't initiate the praise, He did. Think about the fact that your praise of Him, comes from Him. The next line of the 3rd verse tells us why: others see the praise and are brought to Him and are saved. Our praise of GOD is His life-line for others. Do you ever think about how you could bring the lost to Christ? Praise the LORD; sing praises to Him who is the Rock of my countenance and my GOD. Others will see and fear Him and put their trust in Him.

ALL THINGS COME OF THEE, O LORD. WE PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Friday, May 21, 2010
and, behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, "LORD, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean." and Jesus put for His hand, and touched him, saying, "I will; be thou clean". And immediately the leprosy was cleansed.
Worship opened the door of healing .
Leprosy was an incurable disease during the time of Jesus. Lepers were isolated from the community and forced to live in filthy conditions apart from the town. If a leper came into the town, the cry would go out from the people, "unclean, unclean". And all the doors would shut, no one would come out into the street, no one would sell them food or give them alms.

The shunning by the community made the leper feel rejected, unwanted, dirty and abandon by all except fellow lepers. But with JESUS, all people were loved and accepted, even the leper. The leper in the story in Matthew, was very bold to come up to JESUS and speak to Him. This took great courage on his part and great love on the part of JESUS to embrace him.

Notice the attitude in which the leper approached JESUS. HE WORSHIPED JESUS. Praise and worship go hand in hand, because they come from the same heart-place, a heart of love. The leper, also, showed great faith in JESUS. He boldly asked JESUS to heal him. JESUS was touched by the faith of this man, his courage in asking and his love, demonstrated by his worship. JESUS TOUCHED HIM AND Immediately, JESUS healed him. Notice that JESUS did not withhold His hand, He touched the leper. He did not call him "unclean" instead, He healed him.

The door of healing opens when:
1. We worship and praise JESUS with a heart of love.
2.We come to JESUS in faith, believing that He is able to do all things.
3. We have courage to come to Him.
4. We ASK, knowing that He will respond.

ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE; SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND; KNOCK AND THE DOOR SHALL BE OPEN TO YOU. EVERYONE WHO ASKS RECEIVES; EVERYONE WHO SEEKS, FINDS; EVERYONE WHO KNOCKS THE DOOR OPENS.
PRAISE YE THE LORD WHO IS WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Thursday, May 20, 2010
Psalm 43:5
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in GOD; for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance and my GOD.

Praise defeats depression.
Have you ever been depressed? Have you ever felt hopeless, dejected, down trodden, scared? Have you ever said: "Why is this happening to me?" Why, why, why!!!

The Psalmist has the answer for all those who are down and can't get up, who feel depressed and scared. Hope in GOD; for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance and my GOD. Yes, the power of praise lifts the darkness of depression and brings wholeness, light and strength back into the mind, body and spirit. When we praise GOD, for who He is and from our heart, the depression and hopelessness depart and hope and joy replace it.
Whenever we are under the heavy load of circumstances that are beyond our control, hope and trust in GOD to bring an answer. He loves us so much, that He wants the highest and the best for His children. Hope in God and trust that He has everything under His control.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

TRUST IN THE LORD; HOPE IN THE LORD; PRAISE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.
JESUS LOVES YOU! JESUS IS LORD!

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for Thou art my praise.

The door that opens when we are focused on the LORD is the door of healing. When we worship the LORD and praise Him; when we are looking to Him for health and salvation; when we acknowledge Him as the source of all things; Then, He will provide all that we need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

The word for "healing" in the Greek, is the same word as "salvation". The word is "sozo". This indicates that healing is salvation and salvation is healing. Think about that! This fact tells me that salvation is a "once and for all time" fact, through Jesus Christ who gave His life for us and saved us from death. This also tells me that, through praise of Jesus and thanks for all He has done, there is continuous salvation/healing. First, Jesus healed the gap between GOD and man by His Blood. Second, Jesus keeps on healing our body, soul and spirit, through His touch, His love, His word " Be Healed". In the Name of Jesus, we are saved/healed.

GOD inhabits the praises of His people. When we praise Him, we see the walls of disease, affliction, torment, ruin, and death crumble. These "Jericho walls" come tumbling down and we are saved/healed.

Pray with me: JESUS IS LORD! TO HIM BE ALL THE PRAISE!
FOR THOU ART MY PRAISE!

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Tuesday, May 18, 2010
II Chronicles 5: 13,14
It came to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD saying, "For He is good, for His mercy endureth forever" that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD. So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of GOD.

The door that opened in this time of great manifestation of GOD, was GOD taking residence in the House of GOD. Notice the single word, "one". The singers were as one and made one sound of praise and thanksgiving to the LORD. It is remarkable how a large group of musicians and singers; instruments of all kinds could make one sound. Think what it would be like if an Orchestra of 150 instruments and 1000 singers would intone the same note, at the same loud volume and hold it for a long time. It would be ear shattering and earth shaking. Lets say that the singers sang, "For He is good, for His mercy endureth forever" on the same pitch and in one voice and volume as the Orchestra.
I have heard this sound and it is awesome. The singers and the instruments are one, the praise is one, the thanksgiving is one and the ONE true GOD enters in to the house in the cloud of the shekinah-glory.

That would be absolutely awesome and life changing. This is what praise and thanksgiving to GOD brings into a life; into a Church; into a gathering, whose focus is on the LORD. Notice that the Priests could not stand up. They fell over because of the Cloud of GOD'S Glory. No one can stand in the presence of GOD. His power is beyond any power or strength we can imagine.

We have examples in Scripture of this kind of power. Joshua at Jericho; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the furnace and were not burned; Paul and Silas in prison and the walls fell and the chains fell off; when Jesus said, "I AM" to the crowd that came to take Him prisoner in the Garden of Gethsemane; walls fell, people were delivered; the righteous saved and the power of the Holy Name caused those who opposed to fall backward. Nothing can stand in the presence of the Holy GOD.

When we praise GOD with our whole heart, we are praising GOD with all those who love and praise Him anywhere and everywhere. This forms one sound, one voice, one heart; GOD enters the house with His might and power to reign.
NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY GOD.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Monday, May 17, 2010
Psalm 22:3,4
But Thou art Holy, O Thou who inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in Thee; they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them.

Last week we looked at two of the doors that opened when the heart is filled with praise. They are the doors of blessing from GOD and the door of deliverance. This week, we will look at 3 more doors which open when we praise the LORD. They are:
3. Residence- Psalm 22:3
4. Healing - Jeremiah 17:14
5. Salvation-Psalm 40:3

The verse quoted at the beginning contains the word "inhabitest". To inhabit means to dwell in, live in, possess, and make a home. When we praise the Holy GOD, we invite Him to dwell in our heart and make His home there. He is glad to dwell within our heart, because it is a place prepared for Him with love. Where love is, there GOD is. It is out of a heart of deep love for the Holy GOD, that praise is born.
LET US PREPARE A RESIDENCE FOR GOD IN OUR HEART.
A RESIDENCE FIT FOR THE MASTER' S DWELLING.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

1 Chronicles 6: 34-36
Oh, give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever. And say ye, "Save us, O GOD of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathens, that we may give thanks to Thy holy Name, and glory in Thy praise. Blessed be the LORD GOD of Israel forever and ever." and all the people said, "AMEN, and praise the LORD."
This psalm, verses 8-36 of 1 Chronicles, was written by David. It was delivered to Asaph as a Psalm of praise to the LORD GOD, when the Ark of the Covenant was placed in the tent that David had ordered made for the LORD, in Jerusalem. This Psalm was accompanied by instruments and singers who were prepared by Asaph, the musician.
High Praise was offered as a Thanksgiving for the goodness and mercy of GOD.

Notice the progression of this portion of the Psalm. 1. Thanksgiving; 2. Petition; 3. Blessing; and 4. Agreement.
First, David gives thanks to the LORD for who He is. Then there is the request for salvation, uniting and deliverance from the enemy, so that their life would be thanksgiving and praise to the Holy Name. After giving thanks and asking GOD for His Blessing, David blesses the LORD GOD and the people shout their agreement.

Praise opened the door so that humankind was able to BLESS GOD. Have you ever thought that you could be the instrument of giving GOD a blessing? We tend to think that we receive a Blessing from GOD, but do we realize that we have the open door to bless Him, and lavish praise upon Him.

Who is more deserving of praise and blessing than GOD? Who is more wonderful, beautiful, merciful and good than GOD? When we praise HIM for all that He has done for us; when we praise HIM for His unconditional love and mercy; when, from the heart, we sing praises to His Holy Name; the door of love opens wide and we receive from Him the awesome favor from His Hand and are united to Him in love.
LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE YE THE LORD.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Friday, May 14, 2010
Psalm 150
Praise ye the LORD. Praise GOD in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise him according to His excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.
I love the way that this Psalm uses little words to express the totality of praise: "In" all places and "in" all the world; "for" all that the LORD is and does; "with" every sound of instruments, both string and wind; "with dance"; "upon" the percussion instruments; EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
When I read this Psalm, I think about Joshua at the battle of Jericho. When the trumpets blew and the people shouted, the walls came tumbling down. Thick walls fell at the sound of praise. This was a foretaste of the power of praise to open prison doors, unlock chains and set captives free.
When we praise the LORD from the deep places of our spirit, there is victory and deliverance. The power of praise opens doors and crumbles walls in all places; for His Holy Name sake; with and upon every instrument; from the heart of the people of GOD.
LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Thursday, May 13, 2010
Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto those who mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for the mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.
When we put on praise like a garment, heaviness, which is a spirit from the evil one, departs. In place of heaviness, there is the lightness of joy. Many people walk around with a "heavy heart", they seem to be "heavy" almost all the time. Heaviness is another way of looking at "darkness". It is like a heavy burden is on their back and they are bent over by the weight. This "heaviness" is a prison with chains and bars which keeps out the Light and binds the person in an interior jail. The power which is unloosed by praise, is the dynamite that blasts open the prison doors, unlocks the chains and kicks down the bars.
Praise of the Living GOD is powerful, but must be used. Many people are so familiar with darkness that they are frightened by the Light. The truth is that the fear and the heaviness are indications of what spirit is manipulating the mind.We have a choice as to which spirit we will invite into our life. This is why the Scripture is clear: I place before you life and death; choose life and you will live. Praise defeats heaviness and love defeats fear. The love of Jesus casts out fear and the praise of Jesus brings light into the life. Choose to praise GOD and the darkness will flee.
Deliverance from darkness comes through the praise of Jesus

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Psalm 18: 1-3
I will love Thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my GOD, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
The second door that is opened by praise is the door of deliverance. In the verses quoted here, there are three steps which lead to this door. One step is Love the LORD. The whole hearted love of the LORD brings us into His presence where we receive strength.
The second step is the confession of our relationship with Him. He is our Rock, our fortress, our deliverer, our GOD our strength, trustworthy, a shield, our salvation and our high tower.
The third step is Praise the LORD. Praise opens the door of salvation and we are delivered from all enemies.
In our times of prayer, these three steps bring us into the heart of GOD, the light of His countenance shines upon us and we are filled with His love and light; darkness vanishes, blessings flow and strength is renewed. We are made whole.
I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD, WHO IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.

THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Psalm 67:5,6
Let the people praise Thee, O GOD; let all the people praise Thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and GOD, even our own GOD, shall bless us. GOD shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
THE POWER OF PRAISE OPENS DOORS
Yesterday, we looked at the power of praise of GOD to open the prison doors, undo chains and set captives free. We also saw that praise changed the atmosphere and brought conversion to souls. The faithful praised GOD and the darkness was defeated.
Today, we will look at the first of the doors which open when there is praise. The first door is the door of Blessing.
When trouble comes our way, and invades our life like a barbaric army, we are tempted to dwell in darkness with that marauding band. We acknowledge the darkness and follow in the path, accepting the darkness as reality. GOD can not bless us when we choose to walk in the path of the army of evil. GOD can lead us out into the Light when we can invite Him into the darkness as our Deliverer and Savior. When He is invited in, the darkness flees and the blessings abound.
How do we invite Him in to our circumstances? PRAISE. The opening of the door through praise, dispels darkness, defeats the army of darkness and brings in the LIGHT OF LIFE.
Praise begins when we acknowledge Him. Proverbs 3:6 says: "in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path." When we acknowledge Him, Light bursts forth and blessings flow. Praise issues forth from the heart and lips of those who acknowledge Him and follow in His path. Darkness has to flee and Light floods our life and circumstances. Everyone around will be drawn to the light and all will begin to praise GOD. As in the case of Paul and Silas in prison, the foundations of the prison will shake, the jail doors will open and the chains fall off. Deliverance from darkness happens at the sound of praise issuing from the lips of the faithful.
IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH.
PRAISE YE THE LORD!

The Acts 16:25,26
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto GOD; and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
"At the midnight hour, let me feel Your power"
are the words of a modern song of praise. What is the "midnight hour"? It is the hour of greatest darkness. Spiritually speaking, it is the hour of greatest darkness in our life. It is the time when all seems lost and we can not see the "light at the end of the tunnel".
It was at the "midnight hour" that Paul and Silas began to sing praises to GOD. The Scripture says that the prisoners heard the singing. It does not say that the prisoners joined them in singing praises to GOD. What opened the door to the powerful manifestation of the might of GOD was the prayer and praises of the faithful people. They changed the atmosphere of the prison and GOD began to shake the foundations with an earthquake. This earthquake opened the prison doors and the captives went free. The bondage was broken, the chains fell off of everyone.
Spiritually, when the atmosphere of doom and gloom is broken by the prayer and praises of the faithful; GOD acts with a display of His might. Doors open; chains fall off; foundations of the trouble quake and fall away.
Deliverance happens to all involved.
Notice that all the prisoners were set free. Notice, too, in verses 27-34, that the jailer and his household were brought to salvation by Paul and Silas. No one in this story was left out. Praise of GOD opened the door for everyone to be saved and delivered.
IT IS GOD'S WILL THAT ALL SHALL BE SAVED AND DELIVERED, BECAUSE HE LOVES US ALL.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

The Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him (the accuser of the brethren) by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The three actions of a person of faith in Jesus Christ, listed in this verse, sum up the power which each believer has to "overcome" the plots and plans of the enemy. The Blood of the Lamb of GOD is the precious Blood of Jesus shed for us and sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in Heaven by Jesus, Himself. The Blood of the Lamb is the Blood of atonement, uniting us to GOD. The word of their testimony is the bold statement that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man comes to the Father except through Him. The only testimony which defeats the accuser of the brethren is that Jesus is LORD.
The last part of the verse: "they loved not their lives unto the death" holds a great key for overcoming the plots and plans of the enemy. When we hold everything in life lightly, so that if we must give it up, we will not be overcome, then we are dead to things of this world. The last stronghold, which must be broken is that our life is held so lightly that we could lay it down. We must die to self, in order to be raised to newness of life.
All of life is a gift from GOD, nothing belongs to us. We are earthen vessels that the excellency and the power is of GOD and not of us.
If everything is a gift from GOD, then for all things we should be eternally thankful to GOD.
MAY EVERY DAY BE THANKSGIVING DAY FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE.
THERE IS WONDER WORKING POWER IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace.
In Jesus Christ, we have redemption and the forgiveness of all our sins. His Blood, shed for us on the cross; His blood sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in the Heavens; His Blood sprinkled on us to cleanse us from sin. It is all the Grace of GOD and the willing obedience of JESUS, which make redemption eternal. In Jesus, we are restored to the original intended fellowship with GOD. This fellowship was broken due to disobedience; it was restored due to obedience and the shed Blood of the Lamb of GOD.
All this is made possible due to the Love of GOD for His creation. There is no fellowship with GOD except through the Blood of Jesus, the perfect offering for us and the only mediator between GOD and man. The Scripture puts it this way: " For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of GOD. Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which GOD hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:8-10). GOD has a vision and a plan and we are a part of that plan.
BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YE SHALL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD. SALVATION IS YOURS BY FAITH THROUGH HIS GRACE. HIS BLOOD HAS RECONCILED US TO GOD.

1 John 1:5-7
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that GOD is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth; but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
GOD IS LIGHT, AND IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL.
It breaks my heart and I know that it breaks His, when there is darkness in the eyes, heart and mind of a person. What really breaks the heart is when that darkness is a shroud around a Christian. This person, whether it be another or our self, does not have fellowship with GOD, who is Light. It takes the Light of Christ to pierce that darkness and clear away the stain of sin. If we say that we have no sin, we lie. So, what is the remedy for the sickness of sin which darkens the eyes and heart of man. THE BLOOD OF JESUS CLEANSETH US FROM ALL SIN.
How do we get this remedy and be healed from the sickness of sin? 1 John 1:9 has the answer: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
To hang on to the darkness, as if it was something good; if we defend our position, as if we were righteous. We sacrifice fellowship with GOD and darkness covers us like a shroud.
There is a good discipline to follow every day, confess your sin unto Almighty GOD and receive forgiveness through the washing of His Blood over you.
THIS, THEN IS THE MESSAGE WHICH WE HAVE HEARD FROM HIM, GOD IS LIGHT AND IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, and to the Blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Jesus is the Mediator between GOD and man. He is the One who sealed the New Covenant and fulfilled the Old Covenant. "For there is one mediator between GOD and man, the man, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:5,6).
The next part of this verse has great meaning. Notice that the Blood of Jesus was "sprinkled". Jesus "shed" His Blood for the remission of sin and for our salvation; His Blood was "sprinkled" for the sanctification and consecration of us. The Blood of Jesus was "sprinkled" on the Mercy Seat in the Heavenlies 7 times, just like the Earthly High Priest was instructed to do in the Holy of Holies in the Temple. GOD instructed "sprinkling" for the sanctification of the people, on the people and on the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies. It is also interesting to note that the Blood on the Door posts and the lintel of the houses of the Israelites when they were in Egypt, was to be "sprinkled" using branch of hyssop.
This Blood of Jesus "speaks", just like the Blood of Abel spoke from the ground after he was murdered by Cain. The difference is that Abel's blood cried out for vengeance; the Blood of Jesus cries out for mercy for all. Remember the cry of Jesus from the cross: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."? The Blood of Jesus still cries out for mercy, forgiveness and grace for all of us.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAKS BETTER THINGS THAN THE BLOOD OF ABEL

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Hebrews 9:11,12
But Christ being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect Tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building, Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own Blood He entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Have you ever asked the question: When did Jesus enter into the Holy Place in Heaven and carry His Blood for the atonement of us all? When did He go to the Heavenly Tabernacle, not made by hands, and enter the Holy of Holies and seal, once and for all, our redemption?
I believe that we have an answer in the account of Jesus with May Magdalene in the garden, after His resurrection. He said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father and your Father." It is part of the duty of the High Priest to consecrate himself before he enters into the Holy of Holies. He has to be ritually clean, pure and undefiled. No spot or blemish can be upon the High Priest and no one can touch him before he enters into the presence of the LORD. I believe that Jesus, the High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek, after His resurrection, was ritually clean, pure and Holy, it was at this point that He carried his Blood to the High Altar of GOD and made the perfect atonement for us.
It was after this that Jesus could be easily touched and even asked Thomas to put his hands into the nail holes and into His side. Jesus would eat with His disciples and walk and talk with them. Ritually, He was finished with His work and now He would be able to appear and be touched.
Think about that and see what you believe.
When this occurred is not the most important thing for us to remember. The most important thing is that it did occur. We have been bought with the price of the Blood of Jesus. He has made the atonement for us, once and for all times. We are redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb of GOD and we are free from the law of sin and death.
BY HIS BLOOD HE RECONCILED US; BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

The Acts 20:28
Take heed, therefore, unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the church of GOD, which He hath purchased with His own Blood.
This is a warning to all who serve the LORD, "Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock". This means that the ones who are raised up by the Holy Spirit to care for the flock, must remember that this is the Flock of GOD, purchased by His Blood. No ministry belongs to a person, it belongs to GOD and is only acceptable to Him when He is the One and only director of it. Too many times the Flock of GOD is directed by "ravenous wolves" (Acts 20:21) who desire to have the people worship them, and feed their ego.
John 21:15-17 is like Jesus interviewing a person for the leadership of the Flock. The key is in what Jesus asks Peter: "Do you Love(agape) me more than these?". The ones who are called by GOD to "overseers, to feed the church of GOD" are those who Love the LORD GOD with all their heart, soul, mind and might and love their neighbor as themselves.
The Church of GOD was bought with a price, the price of the BLOOD OF JESUS. The ones who care for that flock must be in total submission to the LORD GOD and serve Him only.
JESUS SAYS: DO YOU LOVE ME MORE THAN THESE?
FEED MY SHEEP.
