THE POWER OF PRAISE-opens doors

Psalm 150
Praise ye the LORD. Praise GOD in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise him according to His excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.
I love the way that this Psalm uses little words to express the totality of praise: "In" all places and "in" all the world; "for" all that the LORD is and does; "with" every sound of instruments, both string and wind; "with dance"; "upon" the percussion instruments; EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
When I read this Psalm, I think about Joshua at the battle of Jericho. When the trumpets blew and the people shouted, the walls came tumbling down. Thick walls fell at the sound of praise. This was a foretaste of the power of praise to open prison doors, unlock chains and set captives free.
When we praise the LORD from the deep places of our spirit, there is victory and deliverance. The power of praise opens doors and crumbles walls in all places; for His Holy Name sake; with and upon every instrument; from the heart of the people of GOD.
LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
PRAISE YE THE LORD.
