MIRACLES OF THE CROSS

Friday, April 16, 2010
Hebrews 4:16
Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
The veil of separation has been torn in two. We have access to the Throne of Grace any time and every time. This gift of access was provided for us by the willing sacrifice of GOD'S only Son, who opened the way for us to come into the presence of GOD.
When we say, "boldly", we mean, with confidence of faith. We are confident that the LORD GOD will receive us into His presence and hear our petitions. "Boldly" does not mean, arrogantly. I think about the Publican and how he could not even lift up his head, but cried out for mercy, this is the confidence of faith. The Pharisee, on the other hand, was arrogant. When Esther came into the court of the King, she was humble and respectful, she honored the King although He was her husband. Vashti, the first wife, was arrogant and therefore, cast out.
We are invited by JESUS to come to the Father with the confidence of faith and receive mercy and find grace in our time of need.
COME, BELOVED, INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.
