MIRACLES OF THE CROSS

Matthew 27: 50-54
Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the spirit, and behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth did quake, and the rocks were split; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints that slept were raised, and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the Holy City, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him watching JESUS, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly, this was the Son of GOD."
There are three great miracles which followed the yielding up of the Spirit of JESUS: 1. the veil of the Temple was riped in two from the top to the bottom.
2. The earth quaked. 3. The graves opened.
This week, we will look at the meaning of each of these and see the deeper understanding of these miracles. Each one has a meaning for us as we ask the questions: Are our prayers heard and answered? Is there life after death? and Is JESUS the only way to GOD and Eternal life?
These questions have been discussed endlessly for centuries and every person, at one time or another asks them. The torn veil of the Temple, the earthquakes and the graves opened, give us answers to those questions and settle, once and for all, that
JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, THE REDEEMER OF THE WORLD
