Psalm 18: 6, 10
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my GOD; He heard my voice out of His Temple, and my cry came before Him, even into His ears... And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He did fly upon the wings of the wind.
David had just been delivered from the terrible hand of his enemies and from the hand of Saul. David is filled with the awesome wonder of the movement of the LORD on his behalf. He shouts with joy and with praise for the goodness and loving-kindness of the LORD GOD.
When David called, the LORD answered with great power, the earth shook, there was thunder and lightning, clouds and darkness, fire and smoke. All this came from GOD as He responded to the cry of the servant of the LORD. The LORD rode on a flying cherub and flew on the wing of the wind. All this for David, the servant of the LORD.
What about us? Will the LORD do this for us, also? My dear brothers and sisters,
HE HAS ALREADY DONE IT.
In sending His Son, His only begotten Son, to redeem the world by His Blood, GOD came down out of the heavens to seek out the enemy and destroy his work. In JESUS Christ the work of Satan was destroyed for all time; all who believe in JESUS are saved, delivered, and set free
He says to us all, "call upon Me and I will answer", "ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open unto you."
ASK, CRY OUT AND TRUST IN THE LORD, HE IS YOUR SAVIOR
