LUKE 2: 52
And JESUS increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and man.
If JESUS grew in wisdom as He grew in stature, we need to grow likewise. How did He grow up? In the Word of GOD and nurtured by the Psalms. JESUS always took time apart to pray and listen to the Father. He practiced obedience to His earthly parents as a reflection of His obedience to His Heavenly Father. His wisdom came directly from the Father and so must ours.
JESUS yielded Himself to the Father, to such an extent that everything that the Father did, He did and throughout His life, He and the Father and the Holy Spirit were ONE. As in all relationships, we must practice. This is why we must pray without ceasing and watch for the LORD to arise and arise with Him; listen for JESUS to speak and do what He says to do.
FOR HIS HOLY NAME SAKE.
PRAY, WATCH AND LISTEN; THEN DO
