POWER OF FAITH

James 4: 7, 8, 10
Submit yourselves, therefore, to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to GOD, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD and He shall lift you up.

Faith is powerful, if we exercise our faith according to the Scripture.  These verses from James 4 give us a very simple way to remember our faith exercises: Submit, Resist, Draw near, Cleanse your hands, Purify your heart and Humble yourselves. We begin by submitting to GOD and then resist the devil, draw near to GOD with clean hands and a pure heart in humility. The power of faith, that raises the dead, is unleashed by GOD and is visible to us, so that all who see, will praise the LORD for who He is.

Our faith must be without doubt or argument; trust in the perfect work of GOD, is faith in action. The one thing that GOD can not do is lie, so when we put our trust in Him, we know that what He says will be, because He said it.  His Word is true and He is always faithful to His Word. There is no room for doubt or argument. BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED; TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH. When the LORD speaks, it is done, accomplished and finished. JESUS believed all that, and the Father raised Him from the dead; now He is seated at the Right Hand of the Father making intercession for us and His Blood redeems us from the scourge of death, lifting us to Eternal life with Him. Since JESUS trusted the Father even to the death, shouldn't we!!!!

Confession of faith for today:
I am an asset not a liability (Proverbs 31: 10-29)
