Isaiah 63: 7-9
I will mention the loving-kindness of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the House of Israel, which He hath bestowed on them according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses. For He said, "Surely they are my people, children that will not lie"; so He was their Savior. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
ANGELS OF THE PRESENCE GUARD THE CHILDREN OF GOD
I have studied and read the Attributes of GOD and was struck by the great love that GOD has for us. In these verses, we see many of the attributes of GOD: loving-kindness, great goodness, savior, suffering servant, Love, pity, redeemer, sustain-er and long-suffering. The GOD who created all things in Heaven and on earth, carries the children through every moment of life, with a Love that is unconditional.
I have noticed something, in the Old Testament, the LORD sent an angel of His Presence to "save them". Even in the Birth of JESUS and the birth of John, it was an angel who carried messages. However, after JESUS ascended into heaven and is seated at the right Hand of the Father, it is the Holy Spirit, sent by JESUS, who comes to our assistance. Does this mean that the angels no longer minister to the children of GOD? No, Angels still guard the children and report the needs to the Father, but the Holy Spirit, the essence of the Trinity, flows in power like a mighty waterfall, bringing the power of GOD into the life of the children. Angels bring messages from GOD; the Holy Spirit is GOD connecting with man.
Meditate on the great attributes of GOD and know that the beauty and Love of GOD is more wonderful than we could ever hope or imagine.
LET THE BEAUTY OF JESUS OVERFLOW THROUGH YOU, TRANSFORMING THE WORLD.
