1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and Holy nation, a people of His own, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
It is so wonderful, we have been chosen by GOD to praise Him and to praise Him among the people of the world. This is GOD'S choice, not ours; this is GOD'S choice that we should be a generation of people who are His own. God has chosen us to be His royal priesthood, a Holy nation and a people of His own. We are chosen. Let that thought sink in to your heart: chosen by GOD.
How do the chosen people act? How do the chosen people behave? What changes must occur in the life style of the chosen people? Think about it!!!
The chosen people are so glad to be a part of the Holy Family of GOD that they never cease to give Him praise. The chosen people of GOD humbly bow in obedience to Father GOD and His Son, JESUS. The chosen people want to grow in the love and knowledge of GOD and never cease to worship Him. No longer do the chosen of GOD walk in the council of the ungodly, stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of the scornful, but their delight is in the Word of the LORD and in His Word they meditate day and night. The chosen people have been delivered from darkness and now live in the eternal light of GOD. THEY SHOW FORTH HIS PRAISE, NOT ONLY WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT IN THEIR LIFE.
