HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST

LUKE 19: 40
And He answered, and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

DETERMINED PRAISE

The setting for these words was the entrance of JESUS into Jerusalem to the shouts of Hosanna by the people lining the streets. The Pharisees wanted JESUS to tell the people to be quiet and JESUS, instead, rebuked the Pharisees.

The people were determined to praise GOD and celebrate the King, coming in the name of the LORD. Their praise made the enemy mad, as reflected by the demand of the Pharisees. Praise of JESUS makes the enemy of our soul really mad and he tries, through his victims, to silence praise. We must never allow praise of the Living God to be silenced or quenched. As JESUS said, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

If praise is quenched in your environment and you are criticized for praising GOD, listen, THE STONES AND ALL THE UNIVERSE IS CRYING OUT IN PRAISE, for praise of GOD never stops in Heaven and on the earth.

PRAISE YE THE LORD!!!
