Proverbs 31:11, 12
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.
Trust and love, goodness and kindness are virtues that are exercised daily. The virtuous woman is trustworthy, loving, good and kind in the heart and shows those virtues from the inside out. Her husband feels safe with her and she feels safe with him. That bond of trust makes the home stable and secure.
We can take a lot from these two verses. First of all, we must be trustworthy in the heart; always do good through acts of love and kindness. Next, be all of the great virtues in the heart, so that, whether being or doing a thing, those virtues radiate into the environment as sweetness. We are, literally, homemakers who make the home a haven of blessing and of peace.
The only way for all this goodness to be manifest 24/7 and in all circumstances, is for the Holy Spirit to do the work with in us and we yield to His work. He is the atmosphere changer and the one who makes all thing work together for good.
