CHANGE YOUR MIND

Job 37:14
Hearken unto this, O Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of GOD.

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD (Psalm 46:10)

Psalm 8: 3, 4a says, "When I consider the heavens, the works of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained, what is man, that Thou art mindful of him?..." Think about it; the LORD who made all things in heaven and on the earth, considers us and thinks about us as individuals. He loves us with a passionate love that would sacrifice His highest and best so that we would have life with Him.

Listen to this, O people of GOD, STAND STILL; don't allow yourselves to run around this life without purpose. BE STILL and consider the works of the LORD, how awesome they are and how awesome He is.  Fill your mind with the wonder and beauty of GOD; meditate on Him day and night. Look around and see what wonders He has created and marvel at all his works. Let your heart be filled with love for Him, who first loved you and gave His Son for your salvation.

All of the universe proclaims the majesty of the LORD, join your voice with the whole universe and sing praise to the LORD most High.

HE IS WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE.

CHANGE YOUR MIND

Proverbs 23: 7a
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.

WHAT YOU THINK, YOU BECOME.

This is a true fact that what occupies your mind, you become. The more thoughts about JESUS and His way of being; the more love you give to Him and the more praise, thanks and worship of GOD, the more you become like JESUS. JESUS is present now and dwells in the heart of the faithful; "in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." JESUS is ready to guide in every decision that you have to make, all He needs is for you to ask Him.

It is a part of the Jewish tradition, for the devout Jew to say the Sh'ma morning and night. This was part of the LORD's instruction to the faithful believer, so that they would never forget that the LORD GOD is One LORD and that you should love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.  JESUS made it clear to His followers that this was the first and great commandment.  JESUS understood that what you think about, determines who you are and how you act.

The power of suggestion is the devil's playground; he likes to suggest things and see what happens. When your mind is stayed on the LORD, suggestions that are not of GOD can not take hold, they sail away in the sea of oblivion. Protect your mind by staying focused on the Word of the LORD; Holy Scripture and the presence of JESUS in your midst. Do not allow your mind to take flight on the wings of suggestions from the air.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD forever; for in the LORD GOD is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26: 3, 4)

CHANGE YOUR MIND

Proverbs 14: 30,31 (NIV)
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors GOD.

MAY YOUR HEART LIVE IN PEACE.

These two verses of Scripture are very strong, "in your face" words of the LORD. If you want to live a good life, than keep peace in your heart.  The only way to peace is through the work of the Holy Spirit, transforming your heart and mind into the way of the LORD. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, faith and temperance. The way to peace is for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, richly.

Envy rots the bones. All of the unclean ways eat away at the body. It is a known fact that unforgiveness is the root of arthritis and mental illness. It is also true that lies, envy and hatred cause grief and gloom, muscle aches and headaches.  Yes. envy rots the bones.

Did you know that if your oppress, torment or ignore the poor that you are showing contempt for GOD, but when you are kind to the poor, you honor GOD? This should be a "check-point" for our life in Christ JESUS; be kind and caring to the poor, be Christ to those who live in poverty and you will honor GOD.

Your body responds to your thoughts. When your mind is stayed on JESUS and His Holy Word, then your whole being will be sound and health will be in your mind and body. Pastor Randy said, "Your body transforms to what you think." Think on the LORD day and night and let your mind be fixed on Him, because you trust in Him.

CHANGE YOUR MIND

Psalm 1: 1,2
Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners , nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law doth he meditate day and night.

WALK NOT; STAND NOT; SIT NOT WITH SINNERS, BUT DELIGHT IN GOD

When you walk with the wicked, you can walk away. When you stand with the wicked, you are giving your consent to their ways. When you sit with the wicked, you are agreeing with them and adding your presence to theirs. We are not to walk, stand or sit with the wicked, but change our mind and walk away from their influence.

James 1:8 says that a double-minded person is unstable in all his ways, therefore, we can not walk, stand or sit with wickedness and be righteous with GOD at the same time. Change your mind and "put on Christ" then walk, stand and sit with JESUS and let Him be your total influence. This is the road to stability and righteousness.

Delight in the Word of GOD and meditate on His Word day and night. Do not take the ideas of a person more than the infallible Word of GOD. There are many books written and many thoughts presented that sound good. Take all that is written and all that is said and filter it through the Word of the LORD. Delight in His Word and follow what He says; meditate on Him day and night.

The next part of Psalm 1 say that a man who delights in the Word of the LORD day and night will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  Do you want to know the way to the abundant life? Than walk with GOD, stand with Him and sit with Him, listening to His word and meditating on the Word of the LORD.

THE WORD FROM THE WORD; JESUS CHRIST, THE WORD OF GOD.

CHANGE YOUR MIND

Romans 12: 2 (NIV)
Do not conform any longer in the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.

RENEW YOUR MIND DAILY

Be changed by the renewing of your mind in the way and pattern of GOD.  Read, study and inwardly digest the Good News of GOD, the Holy Scripture, daily and meditate on His Word. Think on the Word of GOD.

In the course of a day, we have hundreds of thoughts running through our mind; some good and some really wrong. We have the power to allow those thoughts or to cast them away; in order to discern which ones to let be or to cast out, we have to put on the mind of Christ.  The mind of Christ is the "helmet of salvation" in the armor of GOD. The mind of Christ protects the mind and allows us to know the will of GOD, "His good, pleasing and perfect will". To know his will is to be able to walk in perfect trust that you are on the right path. So,
RENEW YOUR MIND DAILY BY SCRIPTURE, PRAYER AND ACTION.

CHANGE - 2

Hebrews 13: 15, 16
By Him, therefore, let us offer sacrifice of praise to GOD continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name. But to do good and to share forget not; for with such sacrifices GOD is well pleased.

PRAISE, GIVE THANKS, DO GOOD, AND SHARE.

This little phrase should be on our heart and continually a part of the story of our life. This was the way that JESUS lived. His life was praise to His Father; He gave thanks continually for everything; He did good and spared not and He shared all for the glory of His Father. JESUS showed us how to live, now we must follow Him, not counting the cost.

To me, a sacrifice is something that is given unconditionally without any thought of return or reciprocation. The change for me in 2013 is to give myself unconditionally to GOD and others; not counting the cost, just living without reservation. When JESUS saw a sick person, He was moved with love and healed that person. When JESUS saw weary and hungry crowds, He fed them. JESUS taught the truth about the Kingdom; JESUS taught the truth about His Father. JESUS never withheld the truth from anyone.

Let us live our life as a sacrifice of praise to GOD; giving thanks to Him; doing good to others and sharing what we have in our hand with those who have no way to reciprocate; all in the Name of JESUS and for His sake.

THANKS BE TO GOD WHO GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

CHANGE - 2

Psalm 108: 1
O GOD, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

THE FIXED HEART

I Corinthians 15:58 is the strong definition of the "fixed heart", "Therefore, my beloved brethren, Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, for as much as ye know, that your labor is not in vain in the LORD." The fixed heart is settled, steadfast and unmovable, focused only on the LORD and watching for Him.

Change will occur in our flesh-life, but in our life in the LORD, He directs our path and guards our future. Our part is to trust Him with everything and live with a "fixed heart", not wavering or doubting. GOD is unchangeable, always steadfast and always faithful. He remembers His Covenant and is bound to us with His great love.

STAND FIRM IN THE LORD; YOUR ANCHOR HOLDS IN HIM.

CHANGE - 2

II Corinthians 6:17
Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

CHANGE YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Many new Christians are in environments that are unhealthy and filled with uncleanness. They think that they are able to withstand the wickedness and bring others to Christ through their witness. The truth is that they will, in time, become re-absorbed into the environment, becoming like they were before they were saved.

We are to be separate from the things that are contrary to the mind and way of Christ. We are to be separate unto the LORD, leaving those things behind that draw the soul away from GOD. Another way to think about this, is that the Christian needs the fellowship of other Christians, in order to grow in the love and knowledge of JESUS.  Living and studying the Word of the LORD increases the strength of the person in their relationship with JESUS.

Life in Christ JESUS is based on relationship with JESUS and fellowship with other believers; both of which lead to growth. The Scripture also states that we are not to be "unequally yoked with unbelievers" therefore, we are to commit ourselves to the community of those who worship JESUS and study His Word. All this builds us up into the head of the body which is Christ JESUS the LORD.

BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND

CHANGE - 2

Genesis 19: 29
And it came to pass, when GOD destroyed the cities of the Plain, that GOD remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.

GOD REMEMBERED ABRAHAM

GOD remembered Abraham as a faithful friend who gave honor and glory to GOD. Abraham was a friend of GOD and they walked together in love and Covenant. In like manner, GOD remembers you. When you are faithful to GOD and walk with Him and talk with Him; sharing your life with Him, He remembers your love for Him and will spare those whom you love.

Think about how important your relationship with GOD, through JESUS Christ, is in regard to all your family. Through the Blood of JESUS we are reconciled to GOD; through belief in the Name of JESUS, we are saved; GOD remembers the Covenant He has made with you and He rescues those whom you love. Acts 16: 31 says,"believe on the LORD JESUS Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house". Each person has their time to make their commitment to JESUS, but they are set aside by GOD for special consideration. In the story of Lot, his wife was "almost saved", she was rescued from the overthrow of the cities of the Plain, but she " looked back" and was turned into a pillar of salt. Lot's wife was "almost saved", but she was given a chance to "choose life" and through obedience to GOD, be free and protected.

The enormous love of GOD has put in motion a way for all to be saved, it is up to us to choose JESUS and live in the glorious Kingdom of GOD. From Genesis to Revelation the Word of GOD is continuous, "Choose life" and you will live with Him forever. GOD is all love and He desires that all should be with Him in Glory forever, therefore choose according to the choice of GOD; "choose life and you will live".

JESUS LOVES YOU, THIS I KNOW; FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.

CHANGE - 2

Psalm 139: 17, 18
How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O GOD! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with Thee.

CHANGE YOUR THINKING/ATTITUDE

Whenever we walk "through the valley of the shadow..." we are tempted to think about ourselves as unworthy, and unloved. The truth, is that GOD loves us so much that He thinks about us day and night. If we would count the thoughts of GOD for us, they would be more than the sand by the sea shore. We are precious in His sight; He loves us.

Pastor said something on Sunday that really stuck with me. He said that GOD has a tattoo; we are imprinted on the palm of His Hand (Isaiah 49:16). The Scripture reads, Behold, I have engraved thee upon the palms of My Hands; thy walls are continually before Me." There is no time when the LORD GOD is not watching and wanting to bless us. We are made in the image and likeness of GOD; His handiwork. GOD is present NOW and will never leave us. The consequences of looking back or looking to far forward in vain imaginations, is that we loose connection with GOD. He is present NOW, so acknowledge Him, thank Him and know that He is eager to bless His precious child.

A very dear friend of mine, when she was 98 years old, said this, "If you are not as old as GOD, you are His little child." Remember that when you feel that you are too old to be adored. GOD adores His little children; "all the children of the world; red and yellow black and white, they are precious in His sight, for He loves the little children of the world." He wears us engraved on the palms of His Hands.

CHANGE - 2

Hebrews 9: 14
How much more shall the Blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to GOD, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living GOD?

THE THREE AVENUES FOR CHANGE

1. Change your address - live in the NOW not in the past.
2. Change your focus - Look to JESUS the author and finisher of your faith. Look up, not down; pray, read and study Scripture and serve others in the Name of the LORD.
3. Change your mind - esteem JESUS, and others greater than yourself.

Dead works are those things that are past. Yesterday is gone and under the Blood of JESUS; tomorrow we do not have; TODAY is ours to walk in the LORD and feast on His riches. JESUS is in the here and now, walk with Him and learn from Him, He will direct your path.

PROPHECY FOR 2013 FROM THE LORD
THROUGH PASTOR RANDY
The I AM is doing a new thing,
A mighty thing,
A powerful thing.

The things that you thought would never happen
Are about to be!!!

And the things that you thought would always be
Are about to cease.

Change is coming says the LORD
Change is coming. Selah.

CHANGE

Luke 9: 62
JESUS replied, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of GOD.

DON'T LOOK BACK

Yesterday, I recounted the story of Lot's wife, who looked back at the burning of Sodom and was turned into a pillar of salt; she disobeyed GOD. This verse from Luke 9 is the Word of the LORD to us and we are called to obey His Word. DON'T LOOK BACK!

Don't look back at past success and long for that time again. Don't look back at past failures and wish you could correct the wrong. Put all under the Blood of JESUS and in the sea of forgetfulness. Forgive yourself and forget your self; instead, look to JESUS, the author and finisher of your faith.

Unforgiveness effects your walk with the LORD. It causes you to walk in shame, with your head down, not able to lift your eyes to see the forgiving love of JESUS for you. Lift up your head and look into the eyes of Love and rejoice. Change your focus; reach out for the vision of JESUS for you and then walk in His Light.

Every farmer knows that if you are plowing a field, you have to look at a point on the horizon, in order to plow a straight furrow. A farmer who "looks back" will plow a crooked path and so it is with us, if we look back, our path will not be straight. Our focus must be on JESUS every moment of every day, He will direct our path in the way that we should go.

IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATH

CHANGE

2 Corinthians 5: 17 (NIV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a New Creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

Think about creation; there was chaos and darkness until GOD said, "Let there be light and there was light." In Christ JESUS, the darkness and chaos of our life is driven away by the Light of Christ and we become new.  When GOD created the heavens and the earth, He spoke them into existence; GOD speaks newness into our life and we become a new creation. The Light of JESUS obliterates the darkness; the old is gone.

Do we accept the new creation? or are we so drawn to the old that we can not help but look back? Remember Lot's wife, how she could not resist the temptation of looking back at the burning Sodom. She had been delivered from the darkness and chaos of a sinful world, but she looked back as it burned. DON'T LOOK BACK AT WHAT WAS IN YOUR LIFE, GOOD OR BAD.

Hebrews 12:2 reminds us to "fix our eyes on JESUS, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of GOD." The joy that is set before us, is Everlasting life with JESUS. Psalms 121 and 123 remind us to "lift up our eyes..." Do not look down at "de-feet" (defeat), look up into the glorious face of JESUS and be filled with His Light. Walk in the Light as He is in the light, embracing the fact that you are a new creation in JESUS; brand new, made in His image and likeness. Forgive the past by going forth with JESUS into a new life filled with Him Self.

CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY

CHANGE

Jeremiah 20:13 (NIV)
Sing to the LORD! Give praise to the LORD!
He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked.

YEAR VERSE FOR 2013

I was moved by the power of this verse to change my focus, so I repeated this verse from yesterday's blog entry. The past is gone and under the Blood of JESUS; Jesus knows and holds the future; HE STANDS IN THE PRESENT giving His Heart to those who come to Him in the moment.

When I awoke this morning, my mind was filled with the schedule I had for the day, then I stopped and said, "I will sing to the LORD; I will praise His Name." I gave the schedule to JESUS and asked him to go before me into the day and prepare the way. Now that it is evening, I see that the day unfolded in peace and in victory. The LORD prepared the way, He rescued my life from any harm and He guided me on the path that He had chosen; all I had to do is follow Him.

CHANGE YOUR FOCUS! Don't look to the past or strain to look into the future; trust that the LORD has your best interest in His Heart and will give you the vision to see Him preparing the way for you. His way is perfect; TRUST IT.

STAND IN THE PRESENT; LOOKING TO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH.

CHANGE

Jeremiah 20:13
Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD; for He hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

The New Year, 2013. has begun and we are living in the fresh new pages of this chapter of life. We are writing on fresh pages the story of our life in a new year. What will be written on these pages? Will it be good or evil? Will it be an epic of past things or a vision for the future? Will the story carry the weight of the living presence of JESUS or will it be filled with grief, anxiety, sorrow and gloom? It is our choice; we hold the pen to write our story.

Jeremiah wrote on his pages a note for His time: Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD; for He hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers. His words ring out to us today, that we should use the gift of this new year to "Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD." This year is a gift to us from the LORD GOD; we have unwrapped this gift and are putting our mark on it. What does the story tell?
Stop what you are doing and begin to sing unto the LORD; stop looking behind in regret or in rapture and begin to praise His Name; for He alone is worthy of all praise and glory. He has loved us so much that He laid down His life for us; "sing praises to the LORD for He hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers." Yes, we are poor without Him; in Him, He makes many rich. Write on the tablets of your heart the mighty work of GOD in your life and give praise and thanks to Him.

SING UNTO THE LORD A NEW SONG, LET US HIGHLY EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER.
BLESSED AND GLORIOUS NEW YEAR.

CHANGE

Isaiah 43: 18, 19
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST.

The LORD is doing a great work in the present time. He is in the here and now; are you in the here and now? Are you watching for the hand of GOD, moving in the present time? or are you so fixated on the past that you have built your dwelling there, watching GOD move from afar? Move your dwelling to the solid Rock of JESUS and live in the present, joyfully watching for the actions and works of GOD in the now.

One of the best resolutions for us in the new year is to live fully in the present, watching for the path of the LORD to unfold before our eyes. The LORD is making a "way in the desert", we can only follow Him down that path if we are standing with Him. He knows the way through the wilderness, all we have to do is follow. We can not follow JESUS if we are dwelling in the past. Move your dwelling from the quicksand of the past glories or misdeeds and embrace the new, beautiful and exciting way of the LORD.

Are you thirsty for new life? Are you thirsty for the water that never runs dry and always fills your heart, mind and flesh with freshness? Let the Holy Spirit of GOD fill you with His presence; feel the mighty wind of GOD blowing you toward the harbor of success. Anchor your boat on the Rock, JESUS and your anchor will hold even in the stormiest of gales.

NOW, IS THE DAY OF REDEMPTION, RIGHT NOW, IN JESUS.

CHANGE

Matthew 18: 3 (NIV)
And He said: I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE CHILDLIKE HEART

Life us all about change, yet GOD is changeless. In our life we will experience change in many forms, we can experience both negative and positive changes. The negative ones cause us to frown, the positive cause us to rejoice; but GOD never changes, He remains the same.

JESUS calls us to become like Christ and be changed into the likeness and image of JESUS. One of the ways that this change is accomplished, is by becoming like a little child, full of wonder and rejoicing always. A child looks at the beauty around them; puzzles over the wonderful things they see; dances in the rain and is free from the bondage of the paralyzing guilt of past wrongs. The childlike heart does not dwell in the past, but looks forward with wonder and expectation, knowing that all things work together for good.

The childlike heart trusts the Father to know best and trusts themselves to the Father's care. We can become like little children by yielding to the Father GOD in complete trust, knowing that He will give to His children the highest and the best for their good. Yes, GOD is changeless, He loves His children so much that He gave his only Son, so that all His children would have eternal life. GOD NEVER CHANGES.

WE HAD A DEBT WE COULDN'T PAY; HE PAID THE DEBT HE DIDN'T OWE.

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS - GO FORWARD

Philippians 3: 13, 14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in Christ JESUS.

GO FORWARD IN JESUS

How many times we look back at the things we have done or left undone and we play around in that mud until we are really soaked in dirt. We become like little children who are clean when we leave the house, but end up in the nearest puddle, covering the clean clothes with mud.

When we confess our misdoings to JESUS, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, yet we have a hard time accepting that fact, so we dig around in that mud a little more, besmirching that which is clean. Let us make a resolution to accept the forgiveness of GOD, embrace our new life in Christ, and MOVE FORWARD.

First, we must put all that is behind under the atoning Blood of JESUS; His Blood reconciles us to GOD. Next, we must accept the forgiveness of GOD. Then walk in newness of life as clean and spotless children of the living GOD. When we know the great Love that made this possible for us, we can give that great love to others as the gift of Grace, passed on from a heart of love.

When we go FORWARD IN JESUS, we become His Heart of Love reaching out to a world that is hungry for love. As we have received forgiveness for our faults, we can extend forgiveness to others. As we "press toward the mark for the high calling of GOD in Christ JESUS", we can encourage others to do so, also. They will see our resolutions manifest in our life, and they will want to follow; FREEDOM DRAWS THOSE IN BONDAGE TO ITS LIGHT.

WALK IN LOVE, AS CHRIST LOVED US AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR US AN OFFERING AND SACRIFICE TO GOD

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS #5

Psalm 57:2
I will cry unto GOD most High; unto GOD who performeth all things for me.

RESOLUTION #5
I WILL CRY UNTO THE LORD.

We are blessed by the LORD; He calls us His beloved ones. When we cry unto the LORD, He hears us, and responds; but do we cry into the LORD? Often times, we wait until things are really bad before we cry unto the LORD, rather than bringing all things to Him at the beginning.  David did not do that, and neither should we. The second part of verse 2 of Psalm 57 says, "unto GOD who performeth all things for me". Do you believe this?

The LORD GOD is a personal GOD, who loves each of His Children passionately. JESUS is present to us every moment of every day and never leaves us or forsakes us. JESUS does not even turn away for a second, so He is always listening for us to cry unto Him.  It says in Psalm 121: 3,4,  that He never slumbers or sleeps. The LORD GOD is always watching and when we cry unto Him, He will always answer.

Proverbs 3: 6 says, "in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path." To "acknowledge Him" means to recognize that He is standing right there with you and is in you.  We do not have a GOD who is remote and far off; the LORD GOD is here in our midst. He is in the presence of every individual person; all we have to do is acknowledge Him and He will direct our path.

ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM THE LORD GOD

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS #4

2 Corinthians 1:20-22
For ALL the promises of GOD in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of GOD by us. Now He who establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is GOD, Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

RESOLUTION #4
STOP "IFING" GOD

Many people come to ask for prayer and they end their petition by saying, "if God is willing". Some times we hear a person leading in prayer say, "LORD, if you are willing". Well, I say to you that the I AM is the I WILL.  All the promises of GOD are yea and Amen in Him. So there are no "ifs" about it.

Look at Mark 1: 40, 41. This Leper asked "If you wilt, Thou canst make me clean" JESUS answered, " I will; be thou clean." This is the same response that JESUS gives to all our petitions for help from Him. He will stand by His Covenant with us that is sealed, by the Holy Spirit in our hearts.  Know, in your heart that when you ask according to the promises of GOD and in line with the Word of GOD, He will act.

I AM= I WILL

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS #3

Hebrews 4: 15, 16
For we have not a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

RESOLUTION #3
BE CONFIDENT THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND COME TO HIM AS A SON/DAUGHTER

JESUS loves us, cares for us, receives us, accepts us and answers us; this we know, for the Bible tells us so. Can you say, "JESUS loves me, cares for me, receives me, accepts me, and answers me"? We have a great High Priest who is passionately in love with us,as individuals, and receives us gladly into His presence, so we can come confidently to the Throne of Grace and obtain mercy.

Go to GOD with everything and make Him your first priority not your last resort.  Before you begin a good work, talk to Him about it; consult GOD. Some people think that they are bothering GOD with their problems; not so. GOD has the answer to every petition and He is wanting to share His answer. SO ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE.

JESUS SAID, COME UNTO ME ALL YE WHO ARE HEAVY LADEN AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.

I AM = I WILL

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS #2

Psalm 78:41
Yes, they turned back and tested GOD, and limited the Holy One.

RESOLUTION #2
DO NOT LIMIT THE LORD GOD.

What limits GOD? You do.
LET GOD OUT OF THE BOX AND LET HIM REIGN ALONE IN YOUR LIFE.

Mark 10: 27 says, " And JESUS, looking upon them, saith, With men it is impossible, but not with GOD; for with GOD all things are possible." Do you believe that? If so,
LET GOD OUT OF THE BOX  AND LET HIM REIGN ALONE IN YOUR LIFE.

We tend to box GOD in by our places of doubt, saying, "Father, please, I'd rather do it myself!" GOD will never invade your choice, and will be there when you find that your way is greatly flawed. You will find, in time, that the quicker that you yield to GOD and let Him reign in your life, the better the outcome. His way is perfect so,
LET GOD OUT OF THE BOX AND LET HIM REIGN ALONE IN  YOUR LIFE

BELIEVER'S RESOLUTIONS #1

Mark 11:22
And JESUS answering, saith unto them, Have faith in GOD.

RESOLUTION 1, HAVE FAITH IN GOD.

I am impressed with the fact that JESUS had FAITH IN GOD. JESUS is GOD and He had faith in His Father, while He walked in the flesh like a man.  His faith was so strong that He went to the cross and into the tomb knowing that His Father was faithful to Him. This is the same kind of faith that we are called to have; faith, even unto death, knowing, as JESUS did, that the Father would raise Him and us up from the grave.

In Psalm 108: 1, David says that his "heart is fixed". When we know that GOD is faithful to us, we can fix our heart on the things of GOD and not waver. What we have to deal with, is whether we trust GOD with our life, even unto death. Can we say, "I surrender all to you, O GOD" or "nothing in my hands I bring, simply to Thy Cross I cling."? Fix you heart on JESUS, He is the way, the truth and the life.

Hebrews 11: 1 says, "NOW FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith is not a tomorrow thing; faith is NOW. What you do NOW has eternal weight in glory. Fix your heart on JESUS, now, and follow Him, then you will have the NOW faith that takes hope and makes it happen.

FAITH TAKES HOPE AND MAKES IT SUBSTANCE

WALK IN PEACE

Philippians 4:8, 9
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things which ye have both learned, and received and heard, and seen in me, do, and the GOD of peace shall be with you.

WALK IN PEACE WITH THE GOD OF PEACE

I close this week of meditations on "walk in peace" with the words of the Apostle Paul who tells us what to think about and meditate on in our walk with GOD. He says to think on those things which are true, honest, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praise worthy. Don't allow other thoughts to invade your thinking and your time. GOD has given us the gift of time so that we can use our time to glorify Him. Any use of time other than GOD-time is useless and a waste.

The peace of GOD comes when we use the gift of time to think and meditate on the wonder of all the marvelous gifts that the LORD GOD has given us, beginning with the breath we breathe. GOD is the GOD of peace and He grants peace to those who dwell in His presence.

It is our prayer that all will dwell in the peace of GOD with the GOD of peace enclosing all in the arms of Love.

THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE ALWAYS WITH YOU AND THOSE WHOM YOU LOVE

WALK IN PEACE

Hebrews 4: 12, 13
For the Word of GOD is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

LIVING IN PEACE

When we meditate on the Word of GOD and obey the commands of Word we will have peace within. There is a saying that I hold very dear, "When we read the Scripture, the Scripture reads you." That is the essence of the Hebrews passage; the Word of GOD reads you as you read the Word of GOD.

The Scripture reaches deep into every aspect of life and discerns the thoughts and intents of every action and every word. It checks the heart for any flaw, giving the person a chance to become righteous with GOD through repentance.

When we obey the Word of GOD in our life, we become more and more like JESUS. The Word of GOD moves through our heart, allowing us the opportunity to grow in righteousness; WOW! What a gift!!! When you know that you are right with GOD, then you have peace in your heart that passes all understanding, because the Scripture guards your heart.

LET THE WORD OF GOD DWELL IN YOU RICHLY

WALK IN PEACE

Hebrews 4: 9-11
There remaineth, therefore, a rest to the people of GOD. For he that is entered into His rest, he hath ceased from his own works, as GOD did from His. Let us labor, therefore, to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

REST IN PEACE

We usually reserve the words, "rest in peace" to refer to those who have died. Well, those words can also be applied to the "peace of the LORD". We are to dwell in His peace and therefore, rest from our labor and dwell in His peace.

How do we rest in peace? We cease from our own work, as GOD did from His and enter into the rest of the LORD through belief in Him. How do we do that? Meditate on the Word of the LORD; obey the Word of the LORD; trust in GOD and pray without ceasing, then we will find the peace of GOD that rules our heard and mind in Christ JESUS.

LET US BE DILIGENT TO ENTER INTO THE PEACE OF GOD THROUGH DISCIPLINE.

WALK IN PEACE

II Thessalonians 3:16
Now the LORD of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The LORD be with you all.

THE WAYS AND MEANS OF PEACE.

1. Meditate on GOD'S Word.
2. Obey GOD'S Word.
3. Trust GOD in all things.
4. Pray with thanksgiving to GOD.

The peace of GOD comes with focus on GOD. The story of the storm on the Lake and JESUS speaks to the storm, "Peace, be still." is a great testimony of how the focus on GOD is the avenue of peace in all circumstances. When Peter walks on the water to JESUS in another story, he began to sink when he took his eyes off of JESUS and looked at the waves of the sea.  When we take our eye off of JESUS; when we neglect to meditate on GOD'S Word; when we neglect to obey GOD'S Word; when we cease to trust Him and when we forget to pray, the storms of life will cause turmoil in our heart until we submit to JESUS and yield to His authority over all things. Then peace will follow because, "The LORD of peace himself will give you peace always by all means."

MEDITATE, OBEY, TRUST, AND PRAY; ABIDE IN HIS PEACE.

WALK IN PEACE

Colossians 3: 15-17
And let the peace of GOD rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another, in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts to the LORD. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to GOD and the Father by Him.

PEACE WITH GOD AND THE PEACE OF GOD

For the last few days, we have been talking about peace with GOD through Covenant and in sacrifice. We have looked at how JESUS was and is our peace on earth; He lived and died to reconcile us to GOD and make peace with GOD.  Through Him we have access to the Throne of GOD and are part of the royal family of GOD. JESUS is the way to peace with GOD; OUR SALVATION.

There are many who are reconciled to GOD through their belief in JESUS and are saved, who do not have the peace of GOD ruling their hearts and lives.  For the next days, we will look at the peace of GOD and how to have that peace even in the midst of the storms of life.

The peace of GOD is a state of being. In Hebrew, the word is Shalom which means wholeness, the favor of GOD, devoid of depression and darkness, prosperity and peace.  The key word to finding the peace of GOD is the little word "let". We "let" the peace of GOD rule our heart by giving GOD priority in all that we do. "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the LORD JESUS." We "let" the word of GOD dwell, make its home in, our heart richly. To let something happen means that we must give our permission for it to occur.  To have the peace of GOD, we must yield to GOD everything.

CHOOSE TO YIELD YOURSELF TO GOD
